Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) must meet requirements defined by their state licensing board of accountancy to maintain their CPA license. Many state licensing boards require that CPAs and EAs maintain and improve their skills through Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses.
Enrolled Agents (EAs) must obtain 72 hours of continuing education every three years. A minimum of 16 hours must be earned per year, two of which must be on ethics. Enrolled agents must use an IRS approved CPE provider.
CPE webinars are online instruction courses that qualify as live events. This means that the CPE credit is earned without exams or tests.
Checkpoint Learning offers a variety of CPE webinars to meet your needs.
