HRAs in 2020: A Brave New World for Defined Contribution Health Care  

This session will begin with a historical perspective on HRAs, including options and limitations for HRAs today, and will then focus on the agencies’ final regulations for HRAs (issued in June 2019). Topics covered will include the two new types of HRAs, other aspects of the regulations, and related compliance issues. Action items will be discussed, including compliance and plan design decisions and other implementation issues.
