The Acts Discreditable Rule (the Rule) of the AICPA’s Code of Professional Conduct (the Code) applies to all members of the AICPA, whether they are members in public practice, members in business or are considered other members. The Rule stipulates that a member “shall not commit an act discreditable to the profession.” This webinar will offer a survey of various activities and acts that are considered Acts Discreditable and provide discussions of the conceptual framework for those areas of risk that are not specifically addressed by the Code.
