Online Learning and Instructional Design  

Online learning, eLearning, mobile learning, remote education or web-based training has become more popular in recent years. Professionals depend on this type of training to adhere to continuing education requirements for licenses and employers use this mode for employee onboard and ongoing training. Even private and public schools use online web-based courses when students are unable to attend classes or the school district wants to be creative in their teaching options. Creating effective online learning courses is not as easy as creating a slide presentation and requires different skills and resources than in-person training. This course is intended to provide essential information and options to create online learning course content with an emphasis on instructional design.
