    Ethics for New York Tax Professionals is designed to meet the triennial ethics requirement for New York CPAs and tax professionals renewing their licenses. The course covers the areas of independence and Circular 230. In addition to meeting the State Board of Public Accountancy requirements, this course is designed to give guidance on the laws, rules and regulations that govern the CPA profession and helping the tax professional understand the rules and regulations governing the tax profession and the practical application of these rules in the daily operation of their businesses. The course illustrates the compliance requirements of Treasury Department Circular 230 as it applies to Enrolled Agents, CPAs, and attorneys in their practice before the Internal Revenue Service. This course includes video clips to demonstrate role plays, explain complex topics or showcase experts. Graphics may be animated to show processes and more questions are embedded throughout the course in addition to at the ends of chapters and in the final exam.
