AP Worst Practices, Better Options and IC Issues, Internal  

This course is designed to make the reader aware of some of the more common worst practices in accounts payable and internal control issues. The course will explain why these practices have made the worst list and provide options for better methods for organizations. In addition, the course will provide an in-depth look at where, when, and why internal controls in the area of accounts payable often go awry. You will explore the invoicing process, controls over paper checks, purchase card controls, and the benefits of ACH payments. This basic level course is most beneficial to professionals new to this topic or who have limited exposure to accounts payable practices.
