Auditing for Corruption

CATEGORY: Accounting & Auditing
COURSE ID: NAN088, VERSION 2.00
(9)
  Nano Learning
0.2 CPE Credits
Level: Overview

It is apparent that corruption requires a multifaceted attack. It requires, for example, a set of regulations against corrupt practices, a code of conduct for employees and vendors, awareness-raising campaigns, training of staff, internal controls, sanctions and incentives, protection of whistleblowers, and an open approach towards information reporting. The audit is only one such mechanism. This course gives a basic definition and overview of corruption and the auditor's role in detecting it.

This overview course may be appropriate for professionals at all organizational levels.
