Benchmarking is a process that analyzes and evaluates how things are done in an organization in an effort to identify and implement internal and external best practices in a program of continuous improvement. It is an early warning system of operational deficiencies and the need for positive improvements: focusing attention on operational and profit improvements. This course focuses on identifying appropriate benchmarking principles and how to use them effectively to improve operations and profits in any type of organization.
