Intellectual property (IP) is an intangible asset to a business. IP refers to a product, work, or invention that is the result of creativity, such as a manuscript or a design, to which one has rights and for which one may apply for a patent, copyright, trademark, trade secrets, etc. This course will review the value, laws, and risks associated with intellectual property. This basic level course is most beneficial to professionals new to this topic who may be at the staff or entry level in organization but also for a seasoned professional with limited exposure to this topic.
