Supply Chain Management  

Upon successful completion of this course, the user should be able to:

• identify the basics of the supply chain and the operation of enterprise resource planning;

• recognize the different types of manufacturing operations within the supply chain and how they influence manufacturing strategy;

• determine the elements of production planning including problems, calculation of capacity and load, measurement and control of manufacturing activities as well as function scheduling;

• identify components and management techniques of inventory;

• recognize the essentials of manufacturing measurement, analysis an decision-making; and

• determine the basic concepts of purchasing and logistics and their impact on the supply chain.
