    All tax practitioners need a Written Information Security Plan (WISP) as it is required of all 'financial professionals' mandated by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. A WISP needs to be in place to protect any personal data held by the 'financial professional'. A failure to maintain a WISP could subject the practitioner to the loss of e-filing privileges.
